Membership Overview ↓
SAGED is an education platform designed for healthcare practitioners seeking to expand their knowledge of medical cannabis. We provide evidence-based education in the form of short modules and accredited bundles tailored to doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
SAGED is designed for healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists looking to incorporate medical cannabis into their practice. To gain access to the SAGED platform, you must have an AHPRA number and have a membership account with SAGED.
Members gain access to:
- Browse our catalogue and view content previews.
- Learning credits that can be used to redeem modules or bundles.
- Resources tailored to specific healthcare roles.
- Support from experienced educators.
- A growing library of clinical case studies and practical tools such as our drugs interaction database and hub of research articles relevant to medical cannabis.
- Free Plan: Access to the catalogue and content previews, the community forum, and one complimentary learning credit to redeem a module to start. Purchase more learning credits when you need them.
- Standard Plan: All Free Plan features plus one learning credit each month. Purchase more learning credits when you need them.
- Premium Plan: Unlimited learning credits to redeem as many modules or bundles as you need. Plus access to the Resource Hub and CannaCompanion - interactive databases containing the latest information on medical cannabis research and drug interactions.
Membership and Access ↓
You can join SAGED by creating an account on our website and selecting your preferred membership plan. Start for free, or select a paid plan that suits your learning preferences. Please note: You must have an AHPRA number to be able to create an account.
Yes, all SAGED courses are online and self-paced, allowing you to learn at your convenience.
Yes, SAGED is accessible on desktops, tablets, and smartphones for seamless learning on the go. However, we recommend accessing our platform on a desktop for an optimal online learning experience.
After you have redeemed or enrolled into a module or bundle, you will have access to it for 12 months from the date of redemption.
Unfortunately, you must be an AHPRA-registered healthcare practitioner to be eligible for a membership with SAGED.
Log into your account, click MANAGE MEMBERSHIP, and locate your most recent membership purchase.
Click into your membership. From here, you will see options to upgrade or downgrade your plan.
NOTE: If you are on a standard or premium membership, you must complete 12 months on your plan before you can downgrade or cancel.

Log into your account. From your dashboard you may access the Resource Hub. NOTE: If you are a FREE or STANDARD member, you will need to upgrade to PREMIUM to see full contents of the database.

Using Learning Credits ↓
Log into your account, browse the catalogue and view a module or bundle you would like to redeem. Click "Redeem Now" and follow the prompts to complete checkout using your learning credits.
Any learning credit purchased as an add-on to your membership, regardless of plan type, lasts 12 months from the date of purchase.
If you are on a Standard membership plan, learning credits included within your membership expire 90 days after date of issue.
If you are on a Premium plan, you have unlimited learning credits.
Yes, you can use multiple credits to unlock several modules or bundles simultaneously.
- Modules: Focussed, standalone units of learning on specific topics. Each module is worth 1 CPD hour.
- Bundles: Curated sets of modules exploring broader themes or specialisations. Bundles are worth multiple CPD hours.
Content and Accreditation ↓
Yes, you can claim CPD points upon completion of any SAGED module or bundle. All content meets CPD accreditation standards to support your professional development. Accredited CPD bundles are endorsed by major Australian healthcare bodies such as RACGP, ACRRM, APNA and APC - detailed information about CPD accreditation can be found when navigating your catalogue.
We regularly update our content to reflect the latest evidence, research, and regulatory guidelines. New modules are released every month, and new bundles released every quarter.
Our courses cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Medical cannabis applications in oncology, neurology, and pain management
- Clinical case studies
- Regulatory pathways for prescribing
Yes, we update our catalogue frequently, releasing at least 2 modules per month and 2 bundles per quarter. Keep an eye on your email and the "New Releases" section of the catalogue for updates.

We accept major credit cards and other secure online payment methods.
Yes, you can cancel your membership by downgrading to a FREE plan, via your account settings.
NOTE: If you are on a standard or premium membership, you must complete 12 months on your plan before you can downgrade or cancel.

Log into your account, click MANAGE MEMBERSHIP, and locate your most recent membership purchase.
Click into your membership then select Update Payment Method to change your payment details.
You can request cancellation of your membership at any time by logging into your account, clicking MANAGE MEMBERSHIP, and selecting the "Downgrade to Free" button.
However, your cancellation may take effect at a specific date, depending on your membership plan and whether you have completed an initial 12-month term on your standard or premium plan.

The SAGED platform is accessible only to members. You may cancel your membership at any time, however this will also cease your access to redeemed modules or bundles.
